Wolf Mate! Riveting fated mates story!

Jen L Grey released another great novel today! Wolf Mate is a paranormal romance taking place in a new world Jen created. Skylar drives to university, constantly reminding herself to stay calm so that weird things don't happen when her blood starts to hum. She runs into THE handsome guy on campus. And he is a jerk. Skylar just wants to get her degree and get into vet school. She got a full ride and wants to get through it. Through a crazy series of events, she finds out about wolves, witches, and vampires. She continues to navigate through her new world while learning about herself. She begins learning who are her friends and who aren't. She never had any type of friendship or relationship before going to Evergreen Elite. It is a new terrifying adventure.

BLURB:

"In the shadows, I found a destiny that was never meant to be mine.

All my life, I've been an outcast and the target of cruel jokes. But fate flings me onto a different path when I receive a full-ride scholarship to a prestigious university I never applied to. As the new girl at Evergreen Elite, I’m surrounded by whispered secrets and danger that lurks in every corner. Then I meet Raffe Wright, the university's sexy, broody quarterback, whose presence stirs something deep within me. Every instinct warns me away from him, yet I can't fight the magnetic pull between us. As I unravel the mysteries of the university, I uncover truths about my own past and secrets that could change everything. Each step leads closer to Raffe, and the destiny that brought me here. But the deeper I delve, the more I realize that Raffe might be both the answer to my questions and the greatest danger of all."

I enjoyed how she created another new world with great new characters. She created a character who doesn't fit the box I created. I devoured the book. I wanted to get to the bottom of the mystery that is Skylar. Well, I hit a cliffhanger. The book is worth it! I loved reading all about Skylar and Raffe. Their relationship and Skylar's relationship to others in the university was an interesting change. Sometimes in her books, I have noticed friendships happen quickly and can be quite solid early on. Not the case this time.

With Wolf Mate, her background wasn't easily figured out. Skylar has an unusual background. She didn't know where she originally came from and that is part of what draws the reader early on. I wanted all of what she is to be laid out in this book, but I did not get what I wanted. Tears happened on my end. The cliffhanger got me hard this time. I wanted to get right on to reading the next one, quickly remembering it wasn't out yet. I will be counting down the days until Wolf Bitten.

Until Next Book!
