The Inheritance Games: Review

I decided to pick up The Inheritance Game the other day because for months the cover intrigued me. I am so happy that I did. Jennifer Lynn Barnes did a wonderful job at creating the puzzles and the twist and turns of this book. Even before I finished this book I ordered the other two. I know I am late to the game with these books, but I am thrilled I picked them up.

The Inheritance Games is written by Jennifer Lynn Barns and follows Avery Grambs and how her life changes when she is left the entire fortune of a gentleman she never knew. When this is revealed at the will reading, the entire family loses their minds and begins to find ways to undermine the will and get her out of the picture. She meets the four grandsons of the man whose fortune she inherited. Nash, Grayson, Jameson and Xander. Each grandson has a different personality, a different agenda and Avery is swept up in it all.

The Inheritance Games had me from the beginning. Jennifer was able to create characters I was interested in from the first time they showed up in the book. I could not put it down. I loved how she was able to create so many puzzles and twists throughout the book, all while keeping them straight. I read this book rapidly because I was unable to put it down. I was attached to Avery and how she was going to navigate this new life she has. I could not get enough of it. If you are a fan of puzzles and intrigue, this book is for you. I will be recommending it to my friends for the foreseeable future.

Love and Books,

Ashleigh
