Jen L Grey released the next book in her Twisted Fate trilogy, Eclipsed Heart. She left us with a cliffhanger at the end of the last one. She leaves us with Callie in pain and Samuel not getting the marks indicating him as king. Callie and Bodey realize they are fated mates and it released her wolf. The beginning of Eclipsed Heart, Callie is marked as queen. Immediately they are attacked from the southwest wolves. Callie has to come to terms with her new role in the shifter world. Callie believes that fate made a mistake that the shifters may never recover from.
Eclipsed Heart is a great addition to this trilogy. In these books, Callie uses music to cope with problems in life. I use music as well to work through things in my life. That trait will endear other people to Callie and what she goes through. The emotions that the entire crew experiences are deep. Callie struggles with the feeling of inadequacy of her being queen. It goes along with the way her previous pack treated her.
I did struggle with how people treated Callie in regard to how she handled her interactions with the Southwest pack. I believe Jen meant for the reader to feel that way and want to see Callie come into her own. Eclipsed Heart will give you all the emotions. Reading about how Callie and Bodey work together to rule. She leaves us with another cliffhanger that will hurt your heart. I can’t wait for Chosen Destiny to come out!
