And she did a marvelous job at it. It starts with our heroine, Callie, facing off with wolves from her pack. Callie has never been able to shift. The pack wolves attacked her as if they meant to kill her. She stood her ground as long as she could and by some crazy chance, four other wolves rescued her from the attack. The wolves took her away and didn’t let her return to her pack. Come to find out, the wolves that rescued her are the wolves who are in charge of the other prominent packs in the Western United States. As we read, we learn more of Callie’s past and why she isn’t able to shift.
I love this storyline. Jen writes many of my favorite shifter books. And this one doesn’t disappoint. I was not able to put it down. I am invested in Callie and Bodey’s lives and where their lives are going. Pick this book up and get ready for this series!
