Hidden Princess, Hidden Soulmate

Sorry, Y'all. We are in the process of trying to move so I am behind! Hopefully, soon things will be settled. Let's get into The King of Frost and Shadows by Jen L. Grey.

Now I have said it before, I am a huge fan of Jen's work and this is no exception. It did take me a bit to get into it because I love her shifter romances and this is fae-based. Again, not a problem just an adjustment. The opening of the book was a good introduction to our main characters. Learning just how intense Tavish was piqued my interest. I loved Nightbane. Watching Lira protect him made my heart swell. I am all about characters who become attached to animals, in all books I read.

Lira is strong and keeps going when things look bleak. She pushed through even when it looked as though she wouldn't make it. Tavish wanted to save her no matter what was said to save his people. Reading about his struggle was heart-wrenching.

She did it again! I am invested in these characters and am ready for the next one.
