It starts with Morgana and her sister getting ready for Vegas's most notorious Halloween party. The place was beautiful. They met an adoptive sister, Saphira, and enjoyed a drink. Shortly, the ladies got separated. Her sister Rhode was asked to dance and Saphira had to use the restroom. And Morgana saw the most handsome man she had ever seen coming over. He grabbed her hand and pulled her along. She tried to get away, but his grip was a vise. He pushed her into a corner and she fell, Fell further than she should have. She found herself in an area that was not the same as where she left. Such begins her adventure.
Montero’s world was a wonderful one to fall into. I couldn’t put it down. Morgana’s story unraveled in such a great way. It has a tragic love story, an uprising and so much more. It refers to different worlds that will connect with the other Forgotten Kingdoms. I can’t wait to keep up and enjoy the worlds.
