BRIDE by Ali Hazelwood

A dangerous alliance between a Vampyre bride and an Alpha Werewolf becomes a love deep enough to sink your teeth into in this new paranormal romance from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Love, Theoretically and The Love Hypothesis.

-Excerpt from Bride blurb

Ali Hazelwood jumps in with paranormal romance. If you keep up with Ali, you know she is a well-renowned STEM romance writer. She opened the eyes of many with her insight and discussion of women in STEM fields. And now she is in another romance genre, paranormal. And she NAILS it. Bride is about Misery, the daughter of a Vampyre councilman being married off to an Alpha Werewolf. Misery avoids being a part of the Vampyre population. She was against it until she found out the name of the groom. Her best friend from childhood went missing and it seems to point to this man. The book follows her throughout this journey to find her non-biological sister /best friend and her realizing many differences between the Werewolf population and the Vampyre population. Her relationship with her husband grows and changes.

Oh my gosh! I was allowed to read Bride as an Advanced Reading Copy. I have loved Ali since I read The Love Hypothesis. I was so thrilled she went into the paranormal romance genre. And of course, she knocked it out of the park. I couldn't put it down. And I mean it, I read late into the night. Bride has some twists and turns I loved. Learning more throughout the book about Misery's past was interesting. Hazelwood made each part of her background engrossing. Reading how Misery becomes ingrained into the Werewolf pack is enjoyable.

I give this 5 out of 5. It is part of my rereading list, as well as purchasing a paperback version.

More books to come
